Starting Well
The first months of this year have brought some technical improvements of the app STEMI but we have also focused on presenting it before the users – doctors and paramedics.
During the month of April, we have attended two medical events. The first one was the 10th Central European Congress of Emergency and Disaster Medicine which took place in Vyhne, Slovakia, in the beginning of the month. The Congress was dedicated to the topics concerning the acute cardiology, emergency department, acute nephrology, and the official recommendations and guidelines, and CPR. Altogether 54 lectures within 3 days, all by experts in the field. Our CEO Milan and CTO Peter represented our team. Thanks to the participants of the congress, we have received new suggestions for improvements of the app STEMI and several very positive feedbacks directly from the clinical practice.
At the end of the month, our STEMI team attended Days of Urgent Medicine in Brno, the Czech Republic.
The Congress was dedicated to the stroke care and ultrasonography in urgent care. We are very glad that during this conference Dr. Kolarovova from the EMS of Ústecký kraj, the Czech Republic, held a lecture on benefits of using the app STEMI. Her lecture on how to improve the timing in stroke care achieved success among the participants and we can be proud of the fact that our work has aroused interest among the healthcare professionals. It is also thanks to the cooperation of healthcare specialists that we have managed to achieve the 62% reduction in the secondary transportation, and the 25% reduction in the total treatment times with the help of the app STEMI.
